It’s BIG and Mobile Friendly!
As you may have heard, Facebook has announced a BIG transformation for it’s news feed. But what exactly will this mean for Facebook users?
Well, if Facebook updates have taught me anything it is this; When the updates are rolled out to the masses, regardless of how good they are, you can expect your news feed (on every social network) to be full of people whinging about it.
Joking aside, the new look news feed has some nice updates. Pictures will now be BIGGER and BOLDER, links, ad-units and other shared media will also stand out much more than they do currently.
Another interesting feature will be the ability to switch between feeds. So if you just want to browse through pictures you can switch to your Image Feed, if you want to listen to some tunes you can bounce over to the Music Feed and if you want to catch up with your friends you can revert to your Friends Feed or Close Friends Feed. The most important aspect for businesses will be the Following Feed. For those of us that utilise pages, this feed will be where users will be able to access the content we post on our pages.
